    The early signing period is off to a quick start in the second year of its inception. Lincoln Riley has the Oklahoma Sooners as a consensus top 10 recruiting class for 2018. The Sooners kickstarted that in a big way as Trejan Bridges signs with the Sooners. Stay tuned to Last Word on College Football as we provide the latest in recruiting commitments and news.

    Important to realize, Bridges is the number five ranked wide receiver in the country. He is also a five-star recruit and the number 17th ranked overall recruit according to Rivals.

    Oklahoma signs Trejan Bridges

    Bridges played in Carrolton, Texas this season at Hebron High School. Now, even with all of the success, Oklahoma has had at the wide receiver position, this is the first time they have signed two top-five players at the position.

    Now, Bridges verbally committed to the Sooners in September of 2017.

    Another key point, with Marquise Brown, likely headed to the NFL, Bridges will have every opportunity to battle for a starting spot. Now, fellow early signee Theo Wease and Bridges will bring some new blood into the receiving corps.
