Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top defensive commits. Four-star cornerback and Florida commit Jaydon Hill has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida as he was a tough get with other SEC programs in the mix. This is the third cornerback Mullen has signed in his first two recruiting classes at the University of Florida. Jaydon Hill is the second cornerback in the Florida Gators 2019 recruiting class with Chester Kimbrough.

Who is Jaydon Hill?

Jaydon Hill is a four-star cornerback out of Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama. The Florida cornerback commit is one of the top cornerbacks in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Hill had a ton of suitors. Hill really took off in recruiting once he committed to Florida and schools recruited him harder. Hill signed with Florida over Georgia Tech, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

On 247 Sports, Hill is the 128th ranked recruit and the 16th ranked cornerback in the country. On ESPN, Hill is the 14th ranked recruit in Alabama and the 34th ranked cornerback in the country. The Gators have added a solid cornerback who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early enrollee, Hill will be able to learn the playbook quicker and might get some playing time. Hill will likely redshirt his first season at Florida due to his knee injury and incoming depth.
